The Unforgettable Hero: A Playful Brides Story

The Unforgettable Hero: A Playful Brides Story by Valerie Bowman

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review. I give it 5 stars.

Cecelia Harcourt lives in fear of an arranged marriage to her cousin Percy so she writes a romance novel in order to get money so that she and her sister have the means to live on their own and not be at the mercy of her Aunt and Uncle. On the day she takes her novel to the publisher an accident happens and she loses her memory.

Adam Hunt is walking and witnesses the accident so rushes to Cecelia’s aid, he takes her to his brothers house, sends a servant for the doctor and then goes back to pick up her papers. When Cecelia awakes she thinks she is the heroine in her book and that Adam is her Fiance.

This story is heart warming, emotional, brings out friendships and love. I loved how Adam looks after Cece and does not let on about anything as he does not want her to be frightened. A thoroughly enjoyable read and I can not wait for the next in the series.
